UPDATE: Whilst we are currently in the Coronavirus COVID-19 lockdown and working from home, I am making the most of the extra time I have at home, morning and evening, where I would normally be commuting in to London and back to find more ways to save and make money.
So, at the start of 2020 I made a New Year’s resolution to try and save money and make money, to supplement my income. Whilst I’ve been fortunate enough that my salary manages to cover all the household bills and outgoings I never have a month where I actually have some spare cash left over to treat the family. There are always unaccounted for bills that crop up, like the car needing new brakes or tyres or new school uniform for a growing child. There’s always something!
I’m a busy working Mum of 1 with a disabled husband, so I don’t usually have much spare time to dedicate on some of the money-making proposals out there and there are lots of them, but I have some favourites that are tried and tested, which help me have a bit of extra cash for family treats, which I’ll share with you.
Being a savvy shopper is another way to save money and I always check for deals first before buying.
Perhaps you’re like me or maybe need some extra money to help save for a holiday, pay off some debt or to find alternative ways to cut back on your spending. Whichever it is, you’ve come to the right place. I hope you find my blog helpful.
There are lots of ways to make some extra money online and there are also lots of scams out there. Knowing where to start can be confusing!
Before you start though, you need to take the time to think about what it is you want to achieve. Is it:
- To pay off a bill or a piece of debt
- To cut back on your spending
- To save for a holiday
- To earn an extra £30, £50, £100+ per month
Whatever it is, knowing what you want to achieve out of saving and making money online, will help you find something that works for you, like it does for me.
